Horseshoe Bend - 5 things you need to know
5 things you need to know about Horseshoe Bend [save this post for future planning]

Recapping my favorite 2022 adventures… todays post is from May for my husbands birthday!

📍 Horseshoe Bend // Page, Arizona
🥾 1.5 Miles Round Trip
🅿️ $5 Motorcycles, $10 for cars, suv, RV & motorhome. State / National Parks not accepted
🌟Dog friendly, kid friendly, handicap accessible
⚠️Leave No Trace

Horseshoe Bend is a bucket list hike & we got to check it off ours!

Here are some tips to help with you planning your trip!

1️⃣ Lots of water! This hike is in Page, Arizona. Which gets very toasty. We did the hike May 6 & it was 90 degrees. Even though it’s only 1.5 miles, the heat gets to you quick 🥵

2️⃣ The trail is more like a gravel road. This makes it easy for strollers, handicap scooters, & kids to do the hike!

3️⃣ Shade. There are actually 2 spots built for shade on the trail. They fill up quickly but it’s nice to catch your breath & grab a drink for a moment in the shade. The way back to the car is all uphill.

4️⃣ Parking. Parking costs $5 for motorcycles & $10 for passenger vehicle. This is valid for 1 entry, 1 time. So if you’d like to do a sunrise or sunset hike, plan accordingly. If you’d like to do both, plan snacks, water, chairs, etc. you can hangout in the parking lot or on the trail from sunrise to sunset. *no camping*

5️⃣ There is NO barrier. There are some spots blocked off with a fence. But keep the kiddos close.

These are my 5 top tips of things to know before visiting Horseshoe Bend!

What’s one of your bucket list hikes?

Meet Nicole Tyrrell

Hi there!

I am so happy that you're here!

My name is Nicole Tyrrell. I was born and raised in the South Metro Minnesota,& just moved to Utah with my husband and our 2 dogs. We love spending time outdoors; hiking, biking, & soaking in the sun.

Growing up, I never really knew what it meant to be healthy or feel healthy. I certainly didn't eat healthy. As I got older, I didn't have the time or money to make healthy choices - who can relate here? We live in a world where you can buy a meal for $5, or a couple apples for $5. When you're a broke college student, you're most likely going to pick the meal.

In 2017, a good friend of mine introduced me to Young Living, & it changed my life. I learned about the dangers of the products that were in my home, & learned how to swap them out for organic natural alternatives. I began using essential oils to support every system in my body. I also started taking essential infused supplements. The best part? I have done this in a budget friendly way! Being healthy isn't about breaking the bank. It is just about replacing where you are spending your money.

Not only did the products themselves change my life, but the community has as well! Everyone comes from all walks of life, with different stories, hobbies, backgrounds, & skills, but we all share the same passion. Helping others achieve the wellness, purpose, & abundance that we have.

Don't worry. You don't have to change everything overnight. I certainly didn't. It has been a slow but steady process. Taking baby steps to improve our health has been the best decision. We are healthier, happier, & helping others change their life the way we did.

Please send me a message so that we can connect & I can help you reach your goals, & live the life that you've always imagined.

Sincerely,
Nicole Tyrrell
