Where to get a Pedicure - St George Utah // Dragon Nails Honest Review
Dragon Nails & Spa St George Location Review

I am on a mission to find the best nail salon. & many of you seem to be looking for one too! This is a highly asked topic. This is the 4th place I’ve tried.

Pedicure I give 4.5 stats
Manicure I give 2 stars

Location: In St George Behind Texas Roadhouse

Staff: They were friendly & welcoming

Availability: I called at 930am this morning when they opened & were able to get me in right away. However they continued to get busy as I was there. So I imagine if I waited any longer, it’d be a longer wait.
However they were still taking clients & fit them in.

Cleanliness: Overall the space was comfortable & clean. A little cluttered which was overwhelming at first. The pedicure station was great. But where I got my manicure, she didn’t clean up the dust from previous clients so that was a little disappointing.

Pricing: Prices were pretty comparable to other places I’ve been. But I’m having a hard time accepting an extra $15 for gel & an extra $30 for the new hybrid gel. I’m use to paying an extra $5 for gel in Minnesota. Total price I paid today was $110, including tip.

Pedicure: I got the Dragon’s Deluxe Pedicure for $50. Helen was my tech. She was amazing. My heals have been incredibly dry & painful. Helen paid extra attention to detail & my feet look 10x better. The massage was so relaxing. It felt great. I give 4.5 stars because the chairs are not the most comfortable ones I’ve sat in & im not ready to give someone a perfect score. But I think I will be back to Helen.

Manicure: After such a great experience with a pedi, I asked for a mani. They said there was time & no problem. I didn’t know I’d get a different tech though. They gave me Kim. I got the Dragon’s Deluxe Manicure. $30. Kim is the owner so she was distracted, had to answer the phone, etc. I understand this is part of being the owner but when given the choice, I always avoid the owner for that reason. I felt she was very busy & rushed. Therefore my manicure was rushed too. I had to point out missing color spots to her, my nail shape is kinda weird. She just brisket touched up what was existing which wasn’t anything great. This is my first manicure in 2 years so my nail’s definitely didn’t have a good shape. You can still see visable citicles & hang nails. There is polish on my skin. You can see the lines of the different coats of paint. I am not thrilled with the outcome. She gave a shoulder massage while the collagen gloves soaked which was a nice touch.

Summary: Had I just went in for a manicure, I would not be back & be very disappointed. But since I had such a great experience with Helen, I will highly consider coming back to her for a pedicure in the future. & specifically ask if she does manicures too. If she doesn’t do the manicure, I won’t get one.

I also couldn’t find pricing anywhere online, so here are some photos of the menu

Hope this helps & happy to answer other questions! 🙂
